OneCNCXR8 Release 62.66 was released today and is available in the OneCNC Update Server

Major New Functionality Update
This release includes a major functionality update. The latest Solidworks 2020 direct import of SLDPRT files into OneCNCXR8 is now supported.

This release has many updates and adjustments from our internal testing and also includes a large number of fixes and changes to correct the following reports.

Solidworks 2020 added
Solidworks 2020 file direct import is now supported. Remember this is only available in 64 bit as Solidworks is no longer supported in 32 Bit OS

There was an adjustment to this function

Helix Pocket Entry
In certain settings and applications it was reported that helix entry gouged on entry this is now corrected.

Ramp entry Pocket Setting
There was a report that zig zag entry was going lower than the set finish value and thia has been corrected in this version

4 axis Full Function
There was an adjustment to posting

Open Pocket
Open pocket reports bad contour in some cases has been corrected in this release

Posting Toolpath
In some cases post was not writing name of the selected tool function dialog. This has been corrected

Pocket Finish Pass
Pocket finish problem in/out arc if 0 value was used has been corrected.

DXF Export
DXF Export fails if model visible this is now corrected.

Pocket Finish
Unexpected compensation off (G40) move in pocket finish was corrected in this release.

Coolant Setting
If No Coolant selected caused incorrect tool change posting has been corrected in this release.

Open Pocket
Open Pocket using tapered tool produces too much offset and this has been corrected in this release. The tool definition has been adjusted to accept tapered tools with full tip radius (ball end)

Translation
New updated Chinese translation has been added to this release.

Engrave All
There was a sample file for engrave all example which was wrong this has been replaced with the correct one.

NOTE:
The new Solidworks 2020 file import import is only available in the OneCNMCXR8 64 Bit install version

Windows 10 "Professional version 64 bit" should be used for use Solidworks import.

OneCNCXR8 Version 62.63 has been released

This version includes many small reports.

The major change in this release contains new tool change logic

This improved logic is to better handle coolant on/off settings tool names tool numbers and tool sizes to prevent tool changes that are not required.

OneCNCXR8 Version release 62.63 is now available in the OneCNC update server for all licenced users.

OneCNC has released a new update for OneCNCXR8 version 62.62

1384 True Type Fonts
User reported adding True Type Font to the system and not being able to select it in OneCNC.
Windows 10 now saves fonts to user data so now OneCNC also initialises this.

1363 Profile Function
If users selected an inappropriate tool type in Mill Profile for example selection a spot drill this could cause a crash. Protection was added for users selecting the wrong tool type.

1378 Clean Circle Function
Multiple parts with clean circle was calling tool change between operations. Now corrected.

1366 Profiler Nesting
It was found that not exiting a manual nest could cause an exception. This release corrects it for those users that do not exit the function.

1371 Tool File Lathe
Corrected the tool history that existed in the tool file install

1372 1377 Languages
A new Japanese Language update was added to this release.
A new Chinese translation was added to this release

1380 Lathe finish toolpath Cut to End Setting
Lathe finish cut to end setting was improved to observe the cut to end unchecked setting.

1382 Lathe Turn-Rough with smart boundary
Lathe Turn Rough with Smart Boundary was updated to improve handling of boundary

1379 Lathe Turn-Rough
Lathe Turn Rough was updated to better handle tool path profiles that have undercuts

1367 Print Setup not memorized
The print setup information which can be accessed from 'Setup' button at the left bottom of the Print dialog settings were not memorized.
This update corrects that problem.

1368 Printing Scaled 2D drawing
This is a report about printing a drawing created with 3D to 2D drawing function.
When adding a new drawing with a scale setting that is not 1:1 there was a printing problem.
This update corrects that problem.

NOTE:
You will notice that there are numbers accociated with each listed change these are OneCNC internal numbers.
